Being the oldest city on the Missouri River, Est. 1769, it was founded by a French Canadian fur trader Louis Blanchette, the city was named Les Petites Cotes, ("The Little Hills"), which later evolved into Saint Charles. St. Charles now has over 65,000 residents. Rich history ranging from Daniel Boone, Lewis & Clark, to the Louisiana Purchase makes St. Charles a historic & scenic place to call home. St. Charles is also the headquarters for Aspect, Our365, RX System, NewCo Enterprises, Patriot Machine, and Client Services and home to the regional offices of Coca Cola Enterprises, Sysco, and American Freightways.
